Sri Devi would have turned 57 today if she had never died in 2018 in the accidental drowning incident in Dubai where she attended a private marriage ceremony along with her husband Boney Kapoor. She was last seen in the movie 'Mom' and she even bagged National Award for that project and now on her birthday, we will take a look back at her legacy which she has left in the film industry.

Sridevi started to act when she was just 4-years old just like Allu Arjun's daughter allu arha and she even bagged the Best Child Artist award on her debut movie itself. 


She paired with tamil Cinema's legendary actors Kamal and Rajini when she was just 13-years old and Rajini essayed antagonist role in that flick. She entered bollywood in 1978 and romanced Amol Palekar on her debut flick. 


Her first hit movie in hindi came only after 5 years in the form of 'Himmatwala' and after that, she dominated even the hindi industry. Her outstanding acting potential came in the movie 'Sadma' and she bagged loads of awards for that impeccable acting. 


After a long hiatus and when she bid adieu to the cinema, she made a comeback with 'English Vinglish' and later she acted in 'Bombay Talkies', 'Puli' and a few more movies. Her death news in february 2018 shocked the entire Nation and the heart-melting messages from her fans were proof that she left a void that can never be filled.
