Maharashtra Tourism has recently declared to commemorate on August 19th World Photography Day 2021. They would organize a week-long event. The tourism department during this time will arrange a week-long contest on photography. Also, there’ll be live workshops on travel and food photography along with heritage walk, among others.
On Instagram and Facebook on August 11th, the Directorate of Tourism Maharashtra, started an open to all #MaharashtraThroughMyLens photography contest. Here, interesting and upcoming photographers can share images. The picture needs to capture the spirit of Maharashtra. On various measures, the judges will mark the pictures like framing, composition, innovative style, editing skills and also their social media engagement.
The last date of submission is August 18th and results will be declared online on August 19th. The winner of this contest will be rewarded a cash prize of INR 25000 and the first and second runner ups of this event will receive prize money of INR 10000 and INR 5000, as per the tourism department. Not only this, 20 other entries will get with INR 1000 each.
