L&T share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 1,648 (up 1.6%).

DHFL (down 10.0%) and AUROBINDO PHARMA (down 7.5%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, L&T has moved up from Rs 962 to Rs 1,648, registering a gain of Rs 687 (up 71.41%).
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,758 to 22,344, registering a gain of 7,586 points (up 51.4%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were TEJAS NETWORKS (up 526.7%), SOMANY CERAMICS (up 403.2%) and JSW ENERGY (up 388.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 55,124 (up 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are L&T (up 1.6%), ITC (up 1.3%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.3%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 1.1%) and M&M (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HCL TECHNOLOGIES and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 16,448 (up 0.5%). TATA CONSUMER (up 1.8%) and BPCL (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,407 to 55,124, registering a gain of 16,717 points (up 43.5%).
L&T net profit down at Rs 16 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 26 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 17.6% to Rs 293.3 billion during the period as against Rs 356.0 billion in April-June 2020.
For the year ended March 2021, L&T reported 19.3% increase in net profit to Rs 129.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 108.2 billion during FY20.
Revenue of the company grew 6.5% to Rs 1,360 billion during FY21.
The current Price to earnings ratio of L&T, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 41.4x.
