I watched a video on youtube titled Vegans: The Epitome of Malnourishment and it shows vegans that are extremely skinny. The video has led me to believe that the body doesn't absorb plant proteins/fats.
If that's true why should i even bother to put peanut butter in my morning mass gainer?
If vegans have nutrition issues, it's not because of this - at least not in such a simplistic way. Plant based proteins can have a lower bioavalability and not such a good spectrum of amino acids but it is possible to have a healthy vegan diet - it's just harder to achieve than with mixed sources.
