    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    VIP Ind., Indoco Remedies, Maharashtra Scooter, Vinyl Chemicals and Gufic BioSci, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    Investors should therefore use dips towards 15,200-15,400 to their advantage to accumulate quality largecaps and midcaps.
    NEW DELHI: Shares of VIP Ind., Indoco Remedies, Maharashtra Scooter, Vinyl Chemicals and Gufic BioSci, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.15 points up at 16364.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Future Market, Shubhlaxmi Jewel Art, Viceroy Hotels, Radha Madhav and YES Bank, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, HCL Tech and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, Grasim Inds., ONGC, Dr. Reddys and IndusInd Bank ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 318.05 points up at 54843.98.

    Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, Miscellaneous, Trading, Learning & Education and Cables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Power, Apparels, Industrial Consumables and Consumer Durables sectors during the day.
