Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) Mr Nomula Bhagat of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) was sworn-in as MLA at the state Legislative Assembly complex here on Thursday.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy administered the oath to Mr Bhagat who had won in the recent bypoll held for the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency, which fell vacant following the death of Mr.Bhagath's father Nomula Narasimhaiah.
Ministers Jagdish Reddy, Prashant Reddy, Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were among those present at the swearing-in function.
Mr.Bhagat defeated Senior Congress leader and former Minister K.Jana Reddy in the byelection.
