- Dwaine Pretorius and Junior Dala have been called back into the Proteas squad for the limited overs tour of Sri Lanka.
- Pretorius will be involved with both squads, while Dala will be part of the ODI unit.
- Quinton de Kock, Lungi Ngidi and David Miller will miss the ODI series, but will be back for the T20 leg.
Dwaine Pretorius and Junior Dala have made returns to the Proteas for the limited overs tour to Sri Lanka next month.
Pretorius will feature in both formats while Dala has been included in the ODI squad. Quinton de Kock has been rested for the ODI series, along with David Miller, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during the third T20 against Ireland.
Ngidi will miss the ODI series for personal reasons, but along with De Kock and Miller, they should be available for the T20 series.
Pretorius has been waylaid by injury and illness and his return will be welcomed considering the lower middle-order struggles the Proteas have been dealing with on their recent limited overs encounters
Cricket South Africa's convenor of selectors Victor Mpitsang said he was happy to be able to pick from a relatively full-strength squad.
The three-match ODI series will run from 2-7 September while the three-match T20 series will run from 10-14 September.
All the games will be hosted at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
