T-Mobile Netherlands lifts revenues, drives cost benefits in Q2

T-Mobile Netherlands recorded revenue growth of of 5.4 percent and a profit increase of 8.4 percent in the second quarter. The company added 70,000 postpaid customers in the quarter, the largest increase in a year and a half, plus 14,000 fixed-line customers. CEO Soren Abildgaard told Telecompaper that the numbers show the company and society in general are "bouncing back" from the pandemic. The lift was partly attributed to the reopening of T-Mobile stores, but also the acquisition of Simpel.
