Samsung has re-launched the Galaxy A12 smartphone with a different processor in India. This new variant comes with Samsung's own Exynos 850 processor instead of MediaTek's Helio P35 chipset used on the previous version. It is actually the same phone that went official as Galaxy A12 Nacho in Mexico a couple of days ago.

The Galaxy A12 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display with a dew-drop notch. Under the hood, it has the Exynos 850 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. It has 32GB and 64GB internal storage options with support for microSD cards. The latter is helpful in expanding the phone's storage if the native capacity gets full.

The square-shaped quad-camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and attending video calls. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The phone has a fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy A12 at INR 13,999 for 4GB/64GB and at INR 16,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant. It is available in Black, Blue, and White color options.
