MUMBAI: Telly actress Mayuri Deshmukh, who is currently essaying the role of Malini in Imlie, has penned a poem dedicated to her late husband Aashutosh Bhakre's birthday.
Mayuri is still trying to process the loss after Aashutosh committed suicide last year in July. Her poem that's dedicated to him, which she had apparently promised to write on his 61st birthday, will make you emotional.
Sharing a video of multiple pictures with him including their wedding picture on Instagram, Mayuri writes, "I'd write poems for near and dear, Then why not yet for you you'd wonder ??? It would be your 61st birthday gift I'd tell you, So cluelessly optimistic that life was painting a different hue. Anyway here it is, was long due. It's been a year and some more, Reminiscing some sweet memories and some sore. Thanking the times I was patient and loving, Wondering always if I was enough giving.".
Ashutosh Bhakre was found dead in his hometown Nanded in 2020. It was reported that the actor hanged himself at his residence. The news comes at a time when many people have been demanding justice in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.
