Professor Andrew Pollard, a senior researcher in the UK, has warned that the chances of getting the so-called herd immunity in the current environment are very, very low as the delta corona spreads even among those who got vaccinated. The coronavirus is hitting every country with every new wave and so far, No country has ever escaped from this coronavirus spread.

The next wave is now affecting countries, including china and Australia, which relaxed several restrictions thinking that the spread has ended completely. Andrew pollard who works at Oxford university said, "There are greater chances for a new mutated corona virus that would spread faster than the Delta Variant and there is no way to completely stop the spread of this deadly virus as even vaccinated people are getting infected now. 


So I think as long as there is Delta Corona Variant, there is no chance for the herd immunity and there are high chances another new mutated Corona will develop and that will affect the persons who got completely vaccinated. As for now, the only way to save ourselves to reduce the casualties is to increase the vaccination camps throughout."
