Erika Jayne’s “RHOBH” co-stars are not only beginning to question her involvement in Tom Girardi’s ongoing legal battle, but also whether they should distance themselves from her.
In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Sutton Stracke declared that Jayne put all the women “in a bad position” and wasn’t sure she believed the singer’s tales of innocence.
“I am not sure how much I want to be around my friend during this time,” Stracke said, shocking the rest of the cast.
The episode featured revolving clips of the cast reading a damning LA Times article that was released in December, titled, “The legal titan and the ‘Real Housewife’: The rise and fall of Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne.”
“They used the word ‘Ponzi scheme,'” Stracke told Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards in one scene on Wednesday’s episode.
“Is someone going to jail?” Richards asked.
“If he’s found guilty, yeah, he’s going to jail,” Stracke told the stunned women. “If Erika’s business is under her name and was accepting these funds, that’s trouble. That’s not good.”
Richards then admitted she though Erika could be covering for Girardi, but she doesn’t “how to put this puzzle together.”

While Girardi, 82, and Jayne, 50, were first sued in December 2020 by a class-action firm on behalf of Lion Air Flight 610 victims for allegedly embezzling their settlement money through the couple’s November 2020 divorce, Girardi’s legal issues were years in the making.
A Hulu documentary, “The Housewife and the Hustler,” chronicled Girardi’s business dealings with other alleged victims.
Jayne herself has not been charged with any crimes but has found herself dealing with the fallout as she was listed as a secretary of one of his LLCs and she received money to her company, EJ Global. All the cases involving the couple are ongoing, with Girardi most recently invoking his Fifth Amendment right to stay silent.
“RHOBH” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
