All bad things must come to an end, so says Netflix about the sixth season of Lucifer.
The final season will premiere on the streaming service on 10 September.
"The devil himself has become God… almost. Why is he hesitating? And as the world starts to unravel without a God, what will he do in response?" reads the official synopsis.

The series starring Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles, was picked up by Netflix for additional seasons after Fox cancelled it in May 2018.
After announcing in June 2019 that the show would end after its fifth season, the streaming service in May 2020 renewed it for a sixth season.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the last episodes will see Lucifer preparing to become God and his hesitancy for taking the throne.
Co-showrunner Joe Henderson told the publication: "Lucifer, his whole story begins with wanting to be God, wanting to have the same power and ability as God. When the dog catches the car, what does the dog do with it? That is a question worth exploring for a season."
