    Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

    The NSE Nifty index closed 2.15 points up at 16282.25

    India 10-year bond yield fell 0.34 per cent to 6.13 after trading in 6.13-6.16 range.
    NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 2046.80 crore), Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 1469.67 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1141.21 crore), SAIL (Rs. 1097.44 crore), SBI (Rs. 1019.24 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 989.73 crore), Siemens (Rs. 954.90 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 944.85 crore), RIL (Rs. 891.68 crore) and Manappuram Finance (Rs. 884.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 2.15 points up at 16282.25, while BSE Sensex fell 28.73 points to 54525.93.

    In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd. (up 3.83 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (up 3.73 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (up 2.35 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (up 2.27 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.27 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, Shree Cements Ltd. (down 2.10 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.86 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.80 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 1.74 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.05 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
