Two leading Hollywood stars are playing a vital role in the most recent Visit Dubai tourism campaign, with media handled by Media Agency Group.
The independent MediaCity UK-based agency was the media agency for the TV and DOOH campaign, featuring Jessica Alba and Zac Efron in a spoof spy film which shows off Dubai’s tourist hotspots. It’s a part of integrated campaign ‘Dubai Presents’, for which London’s Mother led the creative and strategy.
The campaign will run on screens across the UK for four weeks in total featuring supporting creative in the style of action movie posters depicting Alba and Efron in prominent Dubai locations.
In the spoof thriller, ‘A Five-Star Mission’, the actors skydive off the Burj Al Arab – which is one of the world’s tallest hotels – and swim in the exclusive hotel’s pool, dine at restaurant Pierchic, and pose in front of the new tech-themed Museum of the Future.
To quote John Kehoe, the CEO of Media Agency Group, “It’s a brilliant feeling for us to be able to run campaigns for international travel again, and it’s the cherry on top of the cake that we’ve been able to run this campaign for an amazing destination such as Dubai, and with a fantastic creative too!”
