A trailer carrying two horses overturned on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn Wednesday, according to cops and a representative from a local riding school.

A driver struck the horses’ motor carrier, causing it to turn over near Nostrand Avenue, before taking off around 5:50 a.m., cops said.

The two horses, who were coming from the Jamaica Bay Riding Academy and heading to a horse show, were unharmed.

The horses were unharmed in the accident and were seen eating grass near the highway.

After the accident, they were seen grazing on grass next to the highway, joined by two female handlers.

“God was with us, everything is OK,” a rep from the Jamaica Bay Riding Academy, who did not want to be identified, told The Post. “Someone hit the truck and left the scene of the accident.”

The academy rep did not know what type of vehicle was involved.
