Lok Sabha (LS) has been adjourned sine die today, bringing an end to the stormy monsoon session. The house was adjourned sine die by Speaker Om Birla. The Rajya Sabha (RS) will be adjourned after the passage of the OBC Bill, which was unanimously passed by the Lower house yesterday. The Opposition protests over the Pegasus snooping row, farm laws and other issues had continuously marred the proceedings since the start of the session on July 19. The Question Hour witnessed disruptions on most of the days during this session. PM Narendra Modi was present in the Lower House when it was adjourned indefinitely today. The session began on July 19 and was scheduled to go on till August 13.
