Biden backs employers who are requiring COVID vaccinations

President Joe Biden in a meeting with business leaders on Wednesday said the federal government "will continue to support employers as they require COVID-19 vaccinations," the White House said in a statement. The meeting on vaccination requirements was with four leaders --- United Airlines UAL, +0.90% CEO Scott Kirby, Kaiser Permanente Chairman and CEO Greg Adams, Howard University President Wayne Frederick and Diane Sumpter, president and CEO of DESA Inc., a small business in South Carolina. United was the first major U.S. airline to require vaccinations for its workers.
