Known for his role of 'Thakur Sajjan Singh' in the popular television show 'Mann Kee Awaaz: Pratigya', actor Anupam Shyam left for his heavenly abode on August 9 following multiple organ failure. Since many years, the actor was on dialysis after suffering severe kidney infection. Anupam Shyam's body of work didn't restrict to television only. He also worked in many Bollywood films like 'Lagaan', 'Nayak', 'Shakti', 'Lajja', 'Parzania', Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', 'Slumdog Millionaire' to name a few. Now, after his demise, his brother Anurag in an interaction with a news channel opened up about Anupam Shyam's financial condition. He mentioned that Anupam had tried to reach out to many personalities including Aamir Khan, with whom he worked in 'Lagaan', but the superstar stopped picking up calls. Anurag was quoted saying, 'Our family has been facing a lot. My mother died last month. Anupam was shocked that he could not go to Pratapgarh (where their mom stayed). Without a dialysis centre in the town, going there would have been a major health risk for Anupam. We urged for a dialysis centre in Pratapgarh and Anupam even went to Aamir Khan for the same. Aamir Khan gave us the assurance but stopped picking our calls after a few months'.Watch the video for more details,
