Royal Caribbean Group announces pricing of $1.0 billion senior unsecured notes

MIAMI, Aug. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE: RCL) (the "Company") today announced that it has priced its private offering of $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 5.500% senior unsecured notes due 2026 (the "Notes"). The Notes will mature on August 31, 2026. The Notes are expected to be issued on or around August 19, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use the proceeds from the sale of the Notes for general corporate purposes, including the replenishment of capital as a result of the up to 40% redemption of its 11.500% Senior Secured Notes Due 2025 and the refinancing of future debt maturities.
