Kinnaur landslide: 2 bodies recovered, 13 rescued so far
Around 60 people were trapped under the debris, along with their vehicles, in a major landslide near Nigulsari in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday afternoon. So far, two bodies have been recovered while 13 injured persons have been rescued.
Of the total 13 injured, 11 have sustained minor injuries while 2 are seriously injured.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that rescue operation has been launched from both sides of landslide spot at Nigulsari in Kinnaur district.

Around 200 jawans of 3 battalions of ITBP are at the spot. The teams are waiting for more than one hour for the shooting stones to stop. It is believed that around 40 people are trapped.

As per the information available so far, 50-60 people might be trapped there. The Union home minister called us and said that the state can immediately tell them of any help that is needed. Army has offered us all possible help, they want to join the operation.
