Vedanta zooms on committing to bring in investments of up to $20 billion across businesses

Vedanta is currently trading at Rs. 322.55, up by 18.05 points or 5.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 304.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 307.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 324.20 and Rs. 307.00 respectively. So far 673885 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.20 on 11-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 91.25 on 04-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 324.20 and Rs. 301.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 116719.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.89% and 9.60% respectively.

Vedanta is committed to bringing in future investments of up to 20 billion dollars across its businesses. The company aims to double its production of silver, which is not only a precious metal but has uses in the high-tech industry and renewable energy.
