Married At First Sight star Jamie Otis revealed Tuesday she is 'fighting for her marriage' with Doug Hehner.
The couple were strangers before they met on the reality show and tied the knot as part of the show's signature experiment on season one in 2014.
Jamie, 35, revealed on Instagram this week that they had a 'heated call' with their therapist that 'started w anger' but wound up with them in each other's arms.

Her candid message to her fans was attached to a selfie in which she and Doug were cuddled up to one another and visibly emotional.
'We're not giving up on each other - not now, not ever,' wrote Jamie, who married Doug in 2014 and has two children with him.
'TBH, sitting in the car in a random parking lot crying-like the hard ugly cry with snotty noses & hiccups-was not at all what I intended on sharing today...but here we are,' she wrote alongside the selfie.
'We just finished a heated call w our therapist It started w anger, yelling, blaming..but ended w us holding each other & trying to figure out our next steps TOGETHER...gosh, a good therapist is everything!' Jamie gushed.

She explained her openness: 'I'm not gonna slap a smile on my face and pop up a pretty picture if that's not my true reality...that feels so fake and wrong.'
Jamie confessed: 'I'm a multifaceted, ever-changing person who is a complete mess at times...and lately, I feel like I've been a mess ALL of the time.'
However she declared herself 'a fighter' and wrote that 'right now, I'm fighting for my marriage. For my children. For ME.'
The dynamic duo share a daughter called Henley who will turn four this month and a son called Hendrix who was born amid the coronavirus lockdowns last May.

However their marriage has been marked by personal heartbreak as well as Jamie has also suffered two miscarriages.
She and Doug co-host a podcast called Hot Marriage. Cool Parents. in which they openly discuss their marital issues.
A couple of months ago during an episode with a life coach Jamie remarked on her difficulty with 'trusting everything' her husband tells her.

Jamie, who is a registered nurse, also pulled the curtain back on her mental health struggles which have included suicidal ideation.
Last September she talked on the podcast about how her postpartum depression contributed to a months-long sex drought with Doug after Hendrix was born.
Other health factors were also involved, including the delivery itself and a colonoscopy and loop electrosurgical excision she underwent shortly thereafter.
