Chandigarh on Monday reported six new cases of Covid-19 taking the total caseload to 61,984. The fatality count remained at 811 with no new death due to the infection. Four patients were discharged. TNS

No case for third day in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district reported no Covid case on Monday for the third consecutive day, keeping the tally unchanged at 30,650. The Covid toll also remained at 376. While 30,265 people have recovered from the disease so far, nine cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent. TNS

Just one case in Mohali, no fatality

Mohali: Only one Covid case was reported from the district during the past 24 hours, taking the case tally to 68,493. No fresh death was reported, while four patients were cured of the disease. The only Covid case surfaced in Gharuan. Of the 68,493 positive cases reported so far, 67,394 patients have been cured. TNS
