Idris Elba Joins Cast of 'Sonic the Hedgehog 2' in Famed Role!

Idris Elba is joining the cast of Paramount’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2!

The 48-year-old actor has signed on to play an iconic character in the Sonic cannon.

Idriswill actually be voicing the famed character of Knuckles! According to Deadline, Knuckles is a “red echidna and he’s the guardian of the Master Emerald in the video games.”

Also set to return for the second film are James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, and Jim Carrey.

The film will be released sometime in 2022. Stay tuned as we learn more!
