Lance makes his home in Northern, Minnesota. Besides writing both fiction and poetry, he owns, operates, and maintains that blue Peterbilt you see in some of the photos here and in his books. In his spare time, he volunteers to teach hunter safety. He also teaches many outdoor safety classes for snowmobiling, ATV, boat and water safety, and Advanced Hunting classes. Lance has a great love for the outdoors and enjoys many of the mentioned activities. In his travels, he has been in 48 States, Alaska, and most of Canada. When he is writing about a certain area, he has actually been there. His interests go in many directions. He is a licensed pilot and has spent many hours flying to different regions to enjoy the great outdoors. He is also a car enthusiast and loves to spend time working on Classics.
