Mumbai, Aug 10 (UNI) The BJP-led Centre should immediately appoint an inquiry committee into the Pegasus scandal, demanded Maharashtra Minorities Affairs Minister Nawab Malik on Tuesday.
"The central government should come to the parliament and make it clear that no government agency has dealt with or taken service from Pegasus," said Mr Malik who is also NCP's chief national spokesperson.
He further said that phones of Supreme Court judges, election commissioners, lawyers, journalists, opposition leaders were tapped. "If the Defence Ministry says it was unaware about it, the incident is serious," the Minister added.
