'Outlander' 7th Anniversary Celebrated by Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe - Read Their Tributes!

It’s a special day for the Outlander family!

It has officially been seven years since the series premiere of Outlander aired on Starz and show’s lead actors Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe took to social media to celebrate.

Sam shared some behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram. He captioned the post, “7 years ago today @outlander_starz premiered! These are the first photos I have on my phone (I actually lost my phone on set in the prison whilst filming the season 1 finale). After 7 years, looks like nothings changed, still learning my lines whilst Cait sleeps.🙌❤️.”

Caitriona took to Twitter to post her tribute.

“7 years!!!!! The anniversary of our first airing and what a thrilling ride it’s been since then.. Thank you to all our fans who’ve stuck with us so faithfully year after year Red heart and to @Writer_DG for giving us all this gift. And @Outlander_STARZ @SPTV for the continued support,” she tweeted.
