Kareena Kapoor Khan’s second son, Jeh, is actually named Jehangir Ali Khan as revealed in the actor’s recently released book on pregnancy.
Kareena has launched her book named Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-to-be on Monday evening. However, there is no mention of Jeh’s full name at the launch. Bebo has addressed him as Jehangir in the caption of one of the images in the last pages of her book.
The actor has not yet revealed Jeh’s face publicly. However, in her book which talks about her juggling between work and family life, she has reportedly shared a full picture of her baby son.
Jeh or Jehangir as it might be was born in February this year. Just like his elder brother Taimur’s name triggered Twitter, the revelation that Jeh is Jehangir might prompt social media to fume.
In 2016, when Taimur’s name was revealed, it outraged Twitter because of its association with a fourteenth-century Central Asian invader. Similarly, Jeh’s name after Mughal emperor Jahangir has also triggered outrage now. However, the trolls are being shut by other users who believe the choice of name is the business of the baby’s parents and no one else’s.
Kareena Kapoor got married to Saif Ali Khan in 2012. She gave birth to her first child Taimur on December 21, 2016. Five years later, the 40-year-old announced her second pregnancy in August 2020. She was blessed with a baby boy on February 21, 2021.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena was last seen in Good Newzz co-starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. She will next be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama Takht and Lal Singh Chaddha, in which she will share screen space with Aamir Khan.
