BENGALURU: A recent study published in the Lancet Journal shows there are cognitive deficits in people who have recovered from Covid and that those placed on ventilators showed a drop in their IQ levels. 

Health professionals are also coming across patients who are having trouble remembering names and some others with other neurological disorders. 

A 28-day analysis shows that two districts in the state have a high mortality growth rate, with Dakshina Kannada at 15.3% Moving Growth Rate (MGR) and Kolar at 16.9%. 

According to BBMP war room data, with the rise in cases in Bengaluru, the number of hospital admissions have been increasing from 15 a day to 30, 26, and 43 admissions in the past three days.
