Two weeks ago, the boy was returning home during night hours after completing his work when a speeding car hit the bicycle from behind. Subash suffered severe head injuries but the car driver escaped. The bicycle was completely damaged.
“I was told about the boy’s family condition and he going to work during the pandemic to earn for family. So, I visited the boy’s house and met his parents and neighbours, who told me that Subash loves his bicycle and they were planning to pool money to buy a new bicycle for him,” city traffic police inspector M Prathap Singh said.
