IMD predicts heavy rainfall for the next 4-5 days in UP-Bihar

The department said that there is a possibility of widespread rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand during the next four-five days.

Monsoon has knocked in the whole country, due to which it is raining continuously in many parts of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in the capital Delhi today. Apart from this, heavy rain has been predicted in some areas of Bihar and UP from August 10. Rainfall will continue in Himachal Pradesh till August 15. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for Uttarakhand.

The department said that there is a possibility of widespread rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand during the next four-five days. It said that during August 10-13, heavy rains are expected in Jharkhand and during August 11-13 in the Ganges region of West Bengal.

The Meteorological Department has said that Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, northern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim will receive widespread rain from August 10, while eastern Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim will receive heavy to very heavy rains on August 10 and 11.
