Asaduddin Owaisi on OBC Reservation Bill: Make 1950 Presidential order on Scheduled Caste religion neutral

Lok Sabha on Tuesday witnessed a thaw in the logjam as members cutting across party lines voiced support for a constitutional amendment bill to restore the states' power to make their own OBC lists. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi joined in opposition chorus and said that govt should lift the 50% cap on the reservation, and the 1950 Presidential order which excluded Muslim and Christian Dalits from the Scheduled Caste list should be made religion-neutral.
