Jaunpur, Aug 10(UNI) Police on Tuesday shot dead two criminals involved in killing of an ATM security guard in Khandhimau market of Baksha police station.
On Monday, three criminals had killed the guard outside the One India ATM.
The encounter took place under Singaramau police station in which both the miscreants were shot dead.
According to police, the criminals were identified as Abhishek and Nitin, while the third miscreant managed to escape.
On Monday afternoon, AGS company's workers and guard cash van went to the ATM. After they entered the ATM with cash bag, security guard Awadh Narayan Choubey, a resident of resident Birbalpur Kotwali Mariahun locked the shutter.
Suddenly, the miscreants covering their faces came on a bike and shot Choubey dead.
The guard also retaliated injuring one of the miscreants.
