(Rs. 358.16 crore), Tech Mahindra (Rs. 355.76 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 346.37 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 282.54 crore), SBI (Rs. 269.66 crore) and Zee Ent. (Rs. 263.04 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 64.95 points up at 16303.15, while BSE Sensex was up 250.96 points at 54528.68 as of 10:14AM (IST) on August 09.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 2.37 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.96 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.43 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (up 1.36 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd. (up 1.25 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.97 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.38 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.96 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd. (down 0.51 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd. (down 0.48 per cent) were among the top losers.
