Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 25.42 crore), Tata Power (number of shares traded: 3.27 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 2.81 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 2.60 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 2.32 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 2.10 crore), Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 2.08 crore), Zee Ent. (number of shares traded: 1.40 crore), Future Consumer (number of shares traded: 1.33 crore) and PNB (number of shares traded: 1.21 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 52.3 points up at 16290.5, while BSE Sensex was up 200.06 points at 54477.78 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 2.32 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.96 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (up 1.66 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.31 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.96 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.43 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.00 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 0.66 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd. (down 0.58 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
