Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 94.60 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 8.55 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 7.13 crore), Tata Power (numbers of share traded: 6.69 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 6.42 crore), Bank of Baroda (numbers of share traded: 5.65 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 5.56 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 4.55 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 4.14 crore) and IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 20.05 points up at 16258.25, while BSE Sensex ended up 125.13 points at 54402.85.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 2.11 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.95 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.68 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.52 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.42 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
