Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rolex Rings Ltd., Century Extrus, Kshitij Polyline, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. and STEL Holdings, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 20.05 points up at 16258.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Chaman Lal Setia, Future Market, Aarey Drugs Ph, Viceroy Hotels and Kovai Medical, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Coal India Ltd, Hindalco, Adani Ports SEZ and Bharti Airtel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 125.13 points up at 54402.85.

Traders piled up positions in Diversified, Paper, Media & Entertainment, Tourism & Hospitality and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Power, Sugar, Industrial Consumables and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
