It is the month of August which is the time last year which Xiaomi debuted the Redmi 9 budget smartphone. It means we should be expecting a successor in the near future and as a result, we have come across our first set of leaked renders and details. The alleged Redmi 10 has accidentally been listed by a Singaporean online shopping platform Courts.
The listing reveals that Redmi 10 will come with noteworthy upgrades over the predecessor. The new budget smartphone for 2021 will allegedly come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The listing is for the 128GB onboard storage option but there could be more options as well.

The quad-camera setup on the phone is reportedly headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The other three sensors include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. There are no words on the front camera sensor. The battery capacity is tipped to be 5,000mAh with an 18W charging speed.
As per Courts, the Redmi 10 will cost SGD 249 (about $184) for the base 6GB/128GB model. This could be placeholder pricing as well. We will have to be patient for the time being until more details emerge.
