The Lok Sabha (LS) today passed three bills without discussion amid ruckus created the Oppositions in the house. The Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2021, the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2021, and the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021 were the 3 bills passed.
The LS resumed after the adjournment, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman moved for considering and passing the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2021, the Opposition MPs gathered in the Well of the LS, sloganeering over 'Pegasus Project' media report. Union Finance Minister also moved Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2021. The Union Finance Minister asked the opposition to participate in the discussion, but the uproar continued. Both the bills were passed without discussion. Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021 was moved in the LS for consideration and passing by Union Minister Arjun Munda. This bill was also passed without discussion in the house.
Later the LS was adjourned till 2 pm. This is the fourth time when the LS was adjourned today amid sloganeering by the opposition MPs in the House.
