After several days of increase in active cases of corona infection in the country, a decline is being recorded. In the last 24 hours, a decline of more than 3500 new infections has been registered. During this, more than 35 thousand new cases have been found. This is the third consecutive day when less than 40 thousand new cases have been found. The number of daily deaths has also come down below five hundred. However, the situation in Kerala does not seem to be improving. More than half of the new cases are from Kerala.
According to the data made by the Union Health Ministry on Monday morning, active cases have come down to four lakh two thousand. There has been a decrease of more than 4000 inactive cases in a day. The recovery rate has improved with more patients recovering from new cases. The recovery rate is currently 97.40 percent. At the same time, more than 20 thousand cases have been found in Kerala in the last hours. The highest number of 139 deaths have also occurred there.

The ministry said that 52.40 crores (52,40,60,890) doses of anti-coronavirus vaccine have been provided by the Center to the states and union territories so far. Apart from this, 8,99,260 more doses will be provided to them soon. The ministry also informed that at present more than 2.33 crore (2,33,55,890) doses are available with the states, union territories, and private hospitals.
In the last 24 hours, 16,11,590 vaccines of coronavirus were administered in the country, taking the total number of vaccinations to 50,86,64,759.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), '13,71,871 sample tests were done for coronavirus in India yesterday, till yesterday a total of 48,17,67,232 sample tests have been done.
Corona situation in the country
In the last 24 hours in India, along with 35,499 new cases of coronavirus, 39,686 people recovered and 447 people died due to corona. Now the total cases in the country have gone up to 3 crores 19 lakh 69 thousand 954. Active cases in the country have gone up to 4 lakh 2 thousand 188. Till now, the total recovery in the country has been 3 crores 11 lakh, 39 thousand 457 people. So far 4 lakh 28 thousand 309 deaths have taken place in India.
