Thane reports 49 new Covid-19 cases, one death

THANE: The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said that the Thane city reported 49 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the total toll to 1,36,238.
However, 44 patients were discharged from hospitals post making a full recovery today. The total number of positive patients recovered and discharged stands at 1,33,581.
One person with co-morbidities also succumbed to the infection. The death toll climbed to 2,069 in the Thane district.
The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.05 per cent while the doubling rate is 2,001 days.
Among the 49 new cases, 21 positive cases were reported from Majiwada-Manpada. Seven positive cases were reported from Naupada, nine from Kalwa. Three each from Vartaknagar, Lokmanyanagar were reported. One each from Uthalsar, Wagale, Diva was reported. And Mumbra saw two new Covid-19 cases today.
Also, one new Covid-19 case was reported from out of Thane jurisdiction.
