Molly Ringwald Shares Emotional Tribute Mourning the Death of Her Dad Bob Ringwald

Molly Ringwald has announced the death of her dad, jazz musician Bob Ringwald.

The 53-year-old Pretty in Pink actress took to her Instagram on Saturday (August 7) to announce her dad’s passing, while also sharing a heartfelt tribute to him.

“It’s with a heavy heart that my family says goodbye to my father. I consider myself very lucky to have had in my life as long as I did. Robert Scott Ringwald 1940-2021,” Molly wrote along with several throwback photos of her dad.

Along with the message she shared on social media, Molly also wrote the obituary for her dad, which was shared on The Sacramento Bee.
