Catherine Zeta-Jones Will Star as Morticia Addams in Netflix's 'Wednesday'

Catherine Zeta-Jones has joined Netflix’s upcoming Addams Family series, Wednesday!

The 51-year-old actress will star as Morticia Addams in the series, in a guest starring role alongside Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams.

The upcoming series is focused on Wednesday Addams, the duo’s first born daughter, and will be played by Jenna Ortega.

Wednesday is described as a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.

“Wednesday attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore,” Netflix says of the show in a release.

Tim Burton will direct and exec produce Wednesday.
