Indian carmakers Maruti Suzuki is working on providing one of its hot-selling products Vitara Brezza in the CNG variant the customers, the company has decided to launch the sub-compact SUV in CNG at a time when fuel prices in the country rising by each day passing.
According to the reports, the customers might see the launch of CNG Vitara Brezza somewhere around September or near Diwali in 2021.

Currently, the carmakers offer Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Ertiga, Celerio and Eeco in CNG variant with the alternative fuel option. The company might provide a subcompact SUV with 1.5-litre K15 naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter
The customers might see some drop in power in CNG mode, but on the flip side , in CNG mode the car will provide good mileage as compared to petrol.
The company claims 17.03 kmpl mileage in Vitara Brezza with the manual transmission and 18.76 kmpl with the automatic transmission.
The customers can expect Vitara Brezza in LXI and VXI variants. There are reports that the company might not offer CNG option in Vitara Brezza’s top-spec ZXI+ trim, even the ZXI variant the customers will not get the CNG option. However, the company has not revealed anything about the same.
Maruti Suzuki is not the only company that focuses to provide CNG options in the cars, Tata is also focusing on offering factory-fitted CNG options. Tata is also set to launch Tigor, Tiago, Altroz and Nexon with CNG options in 2022. Nexon is already has been spotted in CNG in many cities and districts while testing.
