Longmont police notes: Dog quarantined after biting child

Aug. 8—A dog bit a child's face while the child was playing with friends Thursday. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.

Longmont police responded to a residence Friday in the 200 block of Sunset Street to the report of a person tagging a resident's fence with spray paint. Officers collected the available information and a report was taken.

Longmont officers were dispatched about 2:30 p.m. Friday to the 400 block of Longs Peak Avenue in reference to a civil standby. A man was arrested on an outside warrant and released on bond.
