Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra made history in the Tokyo Olympics by winning a gold medal in athletics. He became India's second-ever individual Olympic gold medallist after shooter Abhinav Bindra. 'Well, sports or to play for the country and win a medal was never part of my plan. I think God had planned this, I thank him. No one in my family or in my village was into sports. It was a coincidence that I went to the stadium and started throwing the javelin. I worked hard and everyone supported me.'
