Realme brings magnetic wireless charging system to Android phones; launches 6 new products
BBK-owned Chinese technology brand Realme has become the first company to bring support for magnetic wireless charging systems to Android phones. The company this week unveiled some of its products that come with its MagDart wireless charging technology. Realme launched a range of MagDart accessories and the lineup includes two types of MarDart chargers of 50W and 15W, a power bank, a wallet, a beauty light and a case. Click here for the full story.
Xiaomi launches Mi TV 4C 32-inch in India at Rs 15,999
Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4C smart TV in the country at an introductory price of Rs 15,999. It is a 32-inch smart TV that comes with Android OS and offers support for more than 16 languages. The Mi TV 4C comes with a 32-inch HD LED display with 1366x768 pixel resolution. The smart TV Vivid Picture Engine (VPE) promises to offer accurate screen calibration and colour reproduction. The smart TV is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Mi TV 4C packs 8GB of internal storage.

LG launches three new laptops under Gram series, price starts at Rs 74,999
LG Electronics launched a new lineup of its gram laptops in India this week. The company unveiled three models of LG Gram laptops -- LG Gram 17 (model 17Z90P), LG Gram 16 (model 16Z90P) and LG Gram 14 (model 14Z90P).
All three models feature a 16:10 aspect ratio display and are powered by 11th Gen Intel processors. The new range of LG Gram laptops come with a starting price of Rs 74,999. All three models will be available via both online and offline channels.
LG Gram 16 and LG Gram 17 laptops are equipped with WQXGA screens with 2560x1600 pixel resolution. While the LG Gram 14 comes with a WUXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. Redmi launches RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition laptops, price starts Rs 41,999
Xiaomi’s brand Redmi launched two laptops — RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition. While the former is priced at Rs 49,999 and comes in a single storage option, the latter comes at a starting price of Rs 41,999 and can be purchased in two storage models. Both the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition offer a 15.6-inch display and house a 720p HD webcam. Blaupunkt launches 50-inch 4K HDR 10+ smart TV at Rs 36,999
Germany-based brand Blaupunkt has expanded its range of smart TVs in the country with the launch of 50-inch 4k HDR 10+ TV. The new smart TV carries a price tag of Rs 36,999.
The Blaupunkt 50-inch smart TV features a 50-inch IPS+ panel and has a peak brightness of 500 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek processor with Arm Cortex A53 and runs Android 10. The smart TV packs 2GB RAM and offers 8GB internal storage. It is equipped with 60watt audio output with 4 speakers. The new smart TV comes with Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio and Dolby MS12 sound technology. Amazon scores big win as Supreme Court stalls $3.4-billion Reliance-Future deal
The Supreme Court of India has handed Amazon.com Inc. a major victory in a case where the US-based ecommerce firm sought to stall a $3.4-billion Reliance-Future deal.
As per a report by Reuters, a two-judge bench of the Supreme Court said that a decision by a Singapore arbitrator in October—that put the Reliance-Future deal on hold after finding merit in Amazon's objections—was valid and applicable in India. Amazon had argued that the order is binding, while Future had argued it was not. Both sides agreed to use the Singapore arbitrator in case of disputes when they entered into a $200-million deal in 2019. Click here for the full story.
Dell launches Alienware m15 R5 and Alienware m15 R6 gaming laptops in India, price starts Rs 1,34,990
Gaming laptop maker Alienware has launched its m15 R5 and m15 R6 gaming laptops in India. The Alienware m15 R5 is the company's first Ryzen powered laptop, while the m15 R6 comes with 11th-generation Intel Core processors. Both the laptops are equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics.
The Alienware m15 R5 starts at Rs 1,34,990, while the Alienware m15 R6 starts at Rs 1,59,990. Both the models are available for purchase on Dell’s official website. The Alienware m15 R5 comes with AMD Ryzen R7 5800 H series mobile processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics. The Alienware r15 R6, on the other hand, is an Intel-based laptop and comes with 11th-generation Core i7 11800H Tiger Lake processor paired with up to RTX 3080 graphics. Apple launches new Radeon Pro GPUs for the Mac Pro
Apple launched three new graphics cards for Intel-powered Mac Pro. These include the Radeon Pro W6800X MPX which comes at Rs 2,80,000, the Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX, priced at Rs 500,000 and the Radeon Pro W6900X that comes at Rs 600,000.
The AMD Radeon Pro W6800X comes with 32GB GDDR6 memory and 512GB/s memory bandwidth. The AMD Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX Module is the more powerful GPU and can take on the most demanding multi-GPU pro applications, as per Apple. It comes with two Radeon Pro W6800X GPUs, each with 32GB of GDDR6 memory and delivering up to 512GB/s memory bandwidth. The AMD Radeon Pro W6900X is the most powerful GPU module of the three. Vivo launches Y12G budget phone at Rs 10,990
Smartphone brand Vivo has launched another budget category phone in India called the Vivo Y12G phone at Rs 10,990.
The Vivo Y12G features a 6.51-inch Hallo FullView HD+ LCD screen with 1600x720 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and offers a dual-camera setup at the back. Vivo Y12G comes in a single RAM and storage variant.
