Pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets for 64 runs as India bowled out England for 303 in their second innings on the fourth day of the first Test, leaving the tourists with a victory target of 209 runs.
At stumps, India were 52/1, needing another 157 for victory. Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara, both on 12, were the unbeaten batsmen. India had lost the wicket of their first innings top-scorer KL Rahul.
