Update - Still raining in Nottingham!
And the rain is heavy! The start of play on Day 5 is still quite a distance away. 10 minutes to go for the official start of second session but that is not going to happen!
Day 5 morning session in a nutshell
Persistent rain and thick cloud cover washed out the entire morning session on the fifth day of the opening Test match with India needing 157 runs more and hosts England in search of nine wickets. Continuous drizzle forced the umpires to call for the lunch break at 5:00 pm IST. Not a single ball was bowled in the entire session. Chasing a victory target of 209, India finished the fourth day on 52 for 1 after England, riding on skipper Joe Root's 21st Test hundred, scored 303 in their second innings. This was after India got a 95-run first innings lead in reply to hosts' total of 183. It remains to be seen how much overs can be sneaked in the remaining two sessions as play can continue till midnight (12:00 am) IST, only if there is no further rain.

Rain washes out morning session on Day 5
So, Lunch it is on Day 5! The entire session has been washed out! This is frustrating! Not a single ball was bowled in the morning session because of the contineous drizzle. The match was slightly tilted in favour of India at the end of Day 4 but now, after an entire session has been washed out, things will get a bit tricky from here for Virat Kohli and Co.
Early lunch will be taken on Day 5
No major change still. There will be a lunch break at 12:30PM local time (5:00PM IST).

We really want the weather to clear out and the game to begin, was a good day yesterday. There was consistent swing throughout, when it was fuller it was easier to play but when it was on a length, it got tough and we figured that out in the second innings. With the heavy roller it got slightly better for batting in the second innings but it took time to hit the lengths. Lot of questions about my action, I was always of the belief that if I have something different I can always take advantage and keep on improving . With the amount of cricket you play it's a double-edged sword (on which format to prioritise). Test matches take a lot out of your body, and for me it's always Test cricket growing up and as a youngster if someone asks me, I tell them that this is a format if you want to be recognised and gives you a lot of rewards. The happiness of ODI or T20s is mostly for one day, but this will stay for long. I try to focus on my body and keep it simple. I keep all my fitness aspects in control, sleep on time and have a good diet. Sometimes when you get tired, you might end up bowling too fast and I'm trying to evolve and be more accurate. Technical change happened in 2018 when I came here for the first time, I backed my out-swinger and tried to work on it in my nets. I spent time with my family, we were in London to take a break, focus on your body and goals and come back refreshed. We wanted to contribute as a lower-order, we are putting in a lot of effort, sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn't.
Update - Looks like rain has stopped!
India skipper Virat Kohli having a word with the umpires on the field. No umbrellas, so it is a good sign! Joe Root has his hands inside his pockets, which suggests it is a bit chilly out there. The umpires are now having a word with the ground staff. The covers are still on but hopefully play will start soon!

Root's third-wicket stand of 89 with Sibley ended tamely when the opener -- whose 28 took a laborious 133 balls -- drove loosely at Bumrah and was brilliantly caught by a diving Pant off an inside edge
Crawley's exit for six meant he had scored just 156 runs in 14 Test innings since his brilliant 267 against Pakistan at Southampton last year
Bumrah prolonged Zak Crawley's run of low scores when, he squared up the batsman, with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant holding a fine diving catch low to his right
There was little left-hander Burns could do with a Mohammed Siraj delivery that seamed late to have him caught behind for 18
England resumed on Saturday beneath sunny blue skies on 25/0, a deficit of 70 runs, with Rory Burns 11 not out and Sibley unbeaten on nine
Not a lot of adjustments, just the mindset adjustments, probably not looking at the end result too much, probably being in the moment, trying to back our skills, be in the present and enjoy the game of cricket
